Job Summary:

Provide specialized neonatal care to critically ill infants in the NICU setting. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver safe, effective, and family-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonatal patients to identify urgent needs and changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate and support families of neonatal patients, providing updates and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety standards to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license; Virginia license pending is acceptable with verification.
• Possess BLS certification; NRP certification required to be submitted at the time of application.
• Demonstrate minimum of 1 year of recent NICU or neonatal experience.
• Be able to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts) with flexibility for scheduled weekends and holidays.
• Show competency in neonatal assessments and advanced life support skills.
• Submit professional references and all relevant certifications.
