Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Supervises and coordinates care activities with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for fragile infants.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor the health status of neonatal patients with precision and attention to detail.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate families on neonatal care needs, procedures, and discharge planning.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing and support staff while maintaining supervision and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital policies to promote a safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience working in NICU or neonatal care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
