Job Summary:

Assist physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans and providing rehabilitative services to promote recovery and mobility. Ensure patients receive high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities:

• Support physical therapists in evaluating patient needs and developing treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and assist with mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience assisting in rehabilitative care, preferably in SNF settings.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient handling protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
