Job Summary:
The OR RN will provide specialized nursing care in the operating room environment, supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout all phases of surgery. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams and adherence to strict clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist during surgical procedures, ensuring proper setup and supply management.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
• Maintain sterile techniques and uphold infection control standards in the OR.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and efficiently using electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to facilitate surgical flow.
• Respond to on-call rotations, providing emergency support as needed and floating within scope to meet facility needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina license or Compact license prior to start.
• Possess at least 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic or similar electronic charting platforms.
• Be flexible with schedules including day shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.
• Ability to float between units and cross-train as needed.
