Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine & CT Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing nuclear medicine and CT technologies. The role requires verifying credentials, delivering quality patient care, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine and CT imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Verify and maintain necessary licenses and credentials, including ARRT, CNMT, NMTCB, and R.T. certifications.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Document procedures accurately in the EPIC system, adhering to hospital standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize imaging quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Float within skill set, providing support across outpatient adult imaging services as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact license specific to nuclear medicine and CT imaging.
• Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience in nuclear medicine, including lung scans, myocardial imaging, and SPECT.
• Certified in BLS, with certifications in ARRT(N), ARRT(CT), CNMT, NMTCB(CT), or R.T.(R)(CT).
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in pulmonary, myocardial, bone, renal, GI, thyroid, and liver imaging.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced outpatient setting with minimal supervision.
