Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting through assessment, diagnosis, and care planning. Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice and ensure quality patient outcomes across diverse age groups.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians’ orders and best practices.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognizing changes and intervening appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medication management, and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Current NIH certification (AHA) required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required.
