Job Details

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to patients, ensuring effective management of respiratory conditions. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in the state of practice.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum of Level 4 NICU experience preferred.
• Cardiac PICU experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work within a self-scheduling model and adapt to unit needs.
• Certification copies and reference contacts must be provided upon submission.
