Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care and support to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in alignment with physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and disease management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient progress.
• Comply with all certifications, licensing, and hospital policies for respiratory care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in state of practice.
• BLS, NRP, and other relevant certifications required.
• Minimum of 4 years of Level 4 NICU experience; Cardiac PICU experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently within a self-scheduling model and adapt to unit needs.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Must have current VA license or ability to obtain temporary license with proper documentation.
