Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in operating room care is needed to provide perioperative nursing services. The role involves supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients before surgery and prepare them for procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during operations.
• Document all nursing activities and patient responses accurately.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain sterile environments.
• Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent operating room or perioperative nursing experience.
• Maintain current certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Be willing to work scheduled hours from 11 am to 9 pm, with potential call responsibilities.
• Demonstrate ability to float within scope and adapt to different units as needed.
• Comply with travel and local licensing requirements.
