Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with solid clinical experience to provide assessment and treatment for adult patients. The position involves collaboration with medical teams to deliver specialized communication and swallowing therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing functions.
• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) proficiently to assess swallowing mechanics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly, ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements.
• Float between facilities as needed, maintaining flexibility for weekend rotations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of assignment.
• Possess at least two years of recent clinical experience in acute care settings working with adults.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in conducting MBSS assessments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Willing to participate in weekend rotations, typically every third Saturday/Sunday.
