Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing care in a Medical Surgical unit for adult patients with diverse medical conditions. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered services while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with active licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system is a plus.
