Job Summary:
The dietitian provides comprehensive nutritional care to patients, ensuring adherence to current clinical standards and best practices. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, they assess, plan, and implement personalized nutrition interventions to support patient health and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments for newly admitted patients and in outpatient settings.
• Review medical records and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to evaluate nutritional needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other providers to develop appropriate nutrition care plans.
• Utilize evidence-based tools such as the Nutrition Care Process and Nutrition Focused Physical Exam to identify malnutrition risks.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education tailored to individual patient needs and diet orders.
• Participate in discharge planning, medical rounds, and performance improvement activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and completed an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD).
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certified as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records, especially CBORD and Meditech systems.
• Possess strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
