Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, focusing on the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of physical disabilities and diseases. Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement customized therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients across all age groups.
• Manage specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinics, and assistive technology assessments.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, safety standards, and joint commission requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, techniques, and equipment use.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and protocol development.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Have at least three years of outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Demonstrate experience in specialty services such as wound care or orthotics is preferred.
