Job Summary:
The Emergency Room RN provides high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. They are responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients based on their acuity and clinical needs.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, responding swiftly to changes.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in MediTech EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and paramedics to coordinate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment procedures.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with active state endorsement.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency department experience.
• Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Strong patient communication and teamwork skills.
• Meditech EMR experience required.
