Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Emergency Department. This role offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume trauma and behavioral health unit with advanced equipment and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Accurately perform procedures such as splinting, EKGs, airway support, and trauma assists.
• Monitor patient status using central monitoring systems and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards using MEDITECH EMR.
• Maintain professional development and ensure certification compliance including BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of emergency department experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC; NIHSS preferred.
• Proficient in Meditech EMR system and trauma care protocols.
• Demonstrate multitasking abilities and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to de-escalate behavioral health situations effectively.
• Professional attire in navy blue scrubs required.
