Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in the NICU, ensuring optimal health outcomes for vulnerable infants. This position requires a dedicated professional to work on a short-term contract with a focus on neonatal intensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced nursing care to neonates in a NICU setting.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses to treatments, recording all pertinent data.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedures according to protocol and physician orders.
• Educate family members on neonatal health and care needs.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety procedures consistently.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Nursing license in good standing.
• Obtain and maintain NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications before start.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of pediatric or neonatal nursing experience.
• Possess excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be available to start immediately on an 8-week contract.
