Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the Emergency Room. The RN will support urgent and behavioral health patients while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Support behavioral health units, ensuring security and safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately within Cerner and other charting systems.
• Float between units to meet department needs, including urgent care and critical care areas.
• Maintain certification compliance and participate in ongoing training and assessment modules.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Maryland or compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department experience; Level I or II trauma experience preferred.
• Demonstrate experience with patient ratios of 1:4–6 and support behavioral health units at 1:6.
• Maintain certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and complete the Prophecy Relias assessment.
• Have at least 4 hours of annual stroke continuing education; CEN preferred but not required.
• Exhibit strong precepting and training skills.
