Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room setting for a diverse patient population. Supervises and coordinates with medical staff to deliver timely, quality care through the nursing process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and collect relevant patient data to determine immediate care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and health management.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Facilitate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Have at least two years recent experience in emergency or acute care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic health records, specifically Epic.
• Maintain ACLS certification as required.
