Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 16-26 week travel assignment. The role requires acute care skills, flexibility in schedule, and adherence to certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatric patients.
• Perform clinical procedures including IV insertions, EKGs, infusions, and procedural sedation.
• Manage patient monitoring with Phillips monitors and Alaris IV pumps, following facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient unit operations.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic EMR system.
• Maintain readiness for patient transport, trauma care, and emergency interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent emergency department experience.
• Minimum of one travel assignment completed, demonstrating adaptability in different settings.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of emergency procedures, triage (ESI scale), and trauma protocols.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Charge nurse experience and rural/CAH ED background preferred.
