Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to adult patients on medical-surgical and telemedicine units within a hospital setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care across multiple units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following hospital protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to emergency situations and abnormal patient assessments.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Float between units J1-2, J33, and ED to ensure continuity of care for the same patient population.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including unit-specific protocols and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• Possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Be willing to work rotating day/night shifts and at least every other holiday.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
