Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical or telepatients in a hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting significant changes promptly.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Document patient information and care provided in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform EKG exams and pass passing the required skills assessment during orientation.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license and active in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical or telehealth nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must pass an EKG exam on the first day of orientation.
• Capable of working night shifts, 12-hour shifts, scheduled 36 or 48 hours weekly.
• Flexible to work 3 out of 5 holidays and floating to different units as needed.
