Job Summary:
Provides urgent and emergent patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Demonstrates expertise in managing a wide spectrum of medical conditions, including critical trauma and cardiac cases, while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival to deliver appropriate care efficiently.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, responses to treatment, and provide timely updates to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in emergency and trauma care.
• Possess excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Show proof of high school diploma or equivalent, complying with CAP requirements.
