Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. They provide high-quality imaging services to facilitate accurate diagnosis while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body for diagnostic interpretation.
• Apply radiation safety principles and professional judgment to minimize patient exposure.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for each procedure, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records, images, and departmental documentation.
• Assist with quality assurance and routine maintenance of CT equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic needs and provide appropriate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography required; ARRT in CT certification preferred.
• Ability to perform all diagnostic CT exams with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety protocols and imaging technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under stress.
• Willingness to pursue continuing education and expand skills into other imaging modalities.
• Certification or experience in sterile technique and contrast administration is advantageous.
