Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a long-term care facility, supporting residents through assessments, treatments, and medication administration. The role requires clinical expertise, flexibility, and adherence to facility protocols within a hospital-based setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform resident assessments and execute treatment plans according to physician orders.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses.
• Notify MD/NP of pertinent clinical findings and coordinate care as needed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and specific care procedures.
• Manage specialized treatments such as Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, Wound Vac, and Tracheostomy care.
• Document nursing activities and patient status consistently and thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii RN license prior to start date; non-active license holders must apply immediately upon acceptance.
• Demonstrate experience or training in long-term care nursing, including assessments and treatments.
• Be flexible with shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Have knowledge of medical documentation standards and safety protocols.
