Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled First Assist professional experienced in vein harvesting for CABG procedures. The role involves assisting with on and off pump CABG surgeries, VATS, and valve replacements in a dynamic cardiovascular unit.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during CABG, VATS, and valve replacement procedures.
• Perform vein harvesting and ensure adherence to surgical protocols.
• Support on-pump and off-pump cardiac surgeries with precision.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Complete onboarding modules and compliance requirements within designated timelines.
• Maintain certification requirements and stay current with clinical best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a First Assist in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery.
• Current NBSTSA certification and valid state or compact license.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in vein harvesting, CABG assistance, and cardiac surgery assist techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius for assignment.
