Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to newborn patients in a Level III NICU setting. Deliver high-quality nursing care during night shifts while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced neonatal nursing care to critically ill infants based on physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and assess neonatal vital signs, responses to treatment, and overall health status.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for neonates and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or appropriate licensing for the work location.
• Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience, with Level III NICU experience preferred.
• Current BLS, NRP, and any additional neonatal-specific certifications required.
• Demonstrated ability to work night shifts with flexibility to float to the nursery as needed.
• Strong assessment skills and proficiency in neonatal clinical procedures.
