Job Summary:
This Labor and Delivery RN position involves providing specialized care in a 15-bed unit, supporting neonate and maternal health during night shifts. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced obstetric environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonates and obstetric patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications using Omnicell system and follow protocols for special procedures and unit care.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team via SBAR and update patient progress accurately.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, maintaining sterile techniques.
• Document clinical findings and interventions in electronic health records.
• Support new mothers and infants during rooming-in and nursery care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state RN license in Massachusetts.
• Possess ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications; AWHONN Beginner required, Intermediate preferred.
• Demonstrate minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Be proficient with Cerner electronic medical records (preferred but not required).
• Be able to pass all background checks and comply with travel policy.
• Have excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
