Job Summary:
Provide advanced surgical assistance in a high-volume operating room, supporting a variety of specialties including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and general surgery. Ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality patient care during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during complex surgical procedures using advanced techniques and instrumentation.
• Prepare operating rooms with appropriate equipment and supplies, including specialized robotic tools.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, sterile techniques, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and assist with post-operative care as needed.
• Provide on-call support based on scheduled rotations, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Virginia Surgical Technologist license.
• Possess at least 2 years of surgical assisting experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in robotic surgery, orthopedic procedures, and neuro/spine cases.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability under pressure.
• Be capable of assisting across multiple specialties with a focus on safety and precision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a diverse patient population.
