Job Summary:
Seeking a registered dietitian for a 13-week travel position at a busy acute care and rehab unit. This role involves providing specialized dietary care and outpatient counseling with a focus on patient-focused nutrition support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans.
• Perform Nutrition-Focused Physical Exams (NFPE) as needed.
• Provide outpatient dietary counseling to patients and family members.
• Document clinical interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Registered Dietitian credential and current license in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical dietitian experience.
• Comfortable performing NFPE procedures.
• Experience with outpatient counseling preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
