Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Level II Trauma ICU Nurse to provide specialized critical care for neuro and trauma patients. This role involves managing complex cases and supporting multiple units as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor neuro/trauma patients, including those with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med-Surg units as required to support patient care needs.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in EPIC charting system.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a high level of patient acuity vigilance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CA RN license with at least 5 years of acute critical care experience.
• Demonstrate extensive Level II trauma ICU experience.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have proficient EPIC charting experience.
• Experienced in float staffing and traveler roles within critical care settings.
