Job Summary:
The CT Scan Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for patient assessment. They support trauma, emergency, outpatient, inpatient, and research cases, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire accurate diagnostic images in a fast-paced medical setting.
• Enforce radiation safety protocols in compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
• Assist in clinical evaluations and care of patients across various units, including trauma and intensive care.
• Support ongoing learning and teaching to stay current with technological advancements in imaging.
• Collaborate with medical staff, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school diploma.
• Valid New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Entry-level to experienced candidates, with skillset-based assignment.
