Job Summary:
This Labor and Delivery RN position involves providing expert patient care during night shifts, supporting expectant mothers through labor and delivery processes. Candidates will work within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor fetal and maternal health, including basic and intermediate fetal monitoring.
• Administer appropriate medications and interventions as directed during labor.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout labor and postpartum periods.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including BLS and NRP certifications at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have 1-2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Hold an active, valid RN license (OK or Compact) at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring techniques.
• Be BLS and NRP certified, with certifications current and in hand at time of submission.
• Ability to float to similar units within scope as needed.
• Possess reliable transportation within a 75-mile radius.
