Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified CVOR nurse specializing in cardiovascular, thoracic, transplant, and robotics procedures. The role involves providing expert intraoperative care in a fast-paced, specialized surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform perioperative nursing duties, including patient preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage invasive monitoring devices and assist with complex surgical interventions such as transplant and robotics procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly throughout perioperative phases.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of circulating or scrub nurse experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery, first-time travelers accepted.
• Active GA or Compact RN licensure at the time of submission.
• Demonstrated ability to work within high-acuity, specialized surgical settings, including transplant or robotics cases preferred.
• Strong understanding of intraoperative monitoring, sterile techniques, and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to work a 3x12 hour day shift, with flexibility for call and holiday requirements.
