Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a 24-bed unit specializing in oncology and women’s surgical services. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care while adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatments and report any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, medication management, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Current BLS certification; chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Ability to perform procedures such as pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and participate in on-call duties.
