Job Summary:
The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive emergency care to patients across all age groups, focusing on delivering high-quality, collaborative, and patient-centered nursing services. The role involves independent and delegated nursing functions within a Level I Trauma Center environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on clinical needs and trauma protocols.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient conditions and shared decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and streamline treatment efforts.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to care providers, ensuring adherence to safety standards and clinical competencies.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and uphold standards of nursing practice and environment of care.
• Document clinical interventions, assessments, and patient responses accurately in the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• At least 1 year of recent travel ER experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrated experience with trauma care in a Level I facility.
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and Epic EHR.
