Job Summary:
Providing comprehensive emergency nursing care, this role requires delivering high-quality treatment to adult patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The nurse will support clinical interventions, stabilize patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, prioritize, and manage incoming adult emergency cases with efficiency and clinical expertise.
• Administer medications, perform IV insertions, and manage central lines and PICC lines.
• Interpret 12-lead EKGs, conduct telemedicine consultations, and execute cardioversion and defibrillation as needed.
• Manage airway procedures including procedural sedation, use of CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care.
• Monitor and document patient status, implement treatment plans, and support behavioral health needs when relevant.
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with minimum 3 years of emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Strong skills in adult emergency procedures, including IV insertion, cardiac monitoring, and airway management.
• Proven ability to handle high-acuity cases involving stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and respiratory or cardiac diseases.
• Knowledge of trauma protocols and experience with adult ED patient management.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Experience with behavioral health, chemical dependency, or trauma care is a plus.
