Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support a newly established mobile MRI unit supporting the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. This role involves assisting with unit setup, operational readiness, and providing high-quality imaging services for a variety of MRI procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to perform brain, spine, MRA, body, and MSK imaging studies with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist in the setup and commissioning of the new MRI unit to ensure a smooth launch prior to the opening date.
• Maintain accurate documentation of scans, studies, and patient information using EMR and PACS systems such as EPIC and Fuji.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate imaging procedures and address patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with all department-specific safety standards, including IV starts and radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate with radiology supervisor and lead tech to optimize workflow and staffing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification and WV MRI license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proven experience in MRI imaging, especially in brain, spine, MRA, and MSK procedures.
• Strong communication skills for physician interaction and patient care.
• Ability to work independently as a lone technologist and handle high-volume imaging.
• Knowledge of EPIC and Fuji PACS systems.
