Job Summary:
Provides advanced nursing care to neonatal patients in the Level III NICU, specializing in surgical cases and critical care. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess neonatal patients, including those on all respiratory modes and cooling protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions such as PICC line insertions, bronchoscopy assistance, LISA, VCUG, and swallow studies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all certifications, licensing, and hospital policies for patient safety.
• Educate families on neonatal care and provide emotional support during treatment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA RN license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent NICU experience, preferably in surgical or critical care settings.
• Maintain current BLS and NRP certifications, with AHA or ARC credentials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all respiratory management modes and advanced neonatal procedures.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) with no call requirement.
• Comply with travel and site-specific onboarding and compliance protocols.
