Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Device Tech to assist in outpatient cardiac clinics, focusing on the technical management of implantable cardiac devices. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently with cardiac rhythm management devices in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical assessments and manage implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders.
• Ensure accurate programming, troubleshooting, and adjustment of cardiac devices in accordance with medical protocols.
• Document patient interactions and device data meticulously within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize device functioning and patient outcomes.
• Maintain proficiency with EPIC and other clinical software with recent experience.
• Adhere to safety standards and quality assurance protocols during device management procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possess BLS certification and completion of a pacemaker/ICD technician program or equivalent experience.
• Hold additional certifications such as CCDS or CDRMS preferred.
• Demonstrate recent EPIC EMR experience within the last two years.
• Possess strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiovascular physiology, and cardiac devices.
• Have excellent technical skills and the ability to work independently in outpatient settings.
• Reliable transportation is required as public transit is not accessible.
