Job Summary:
Provides specialized respiratory care to patients of all ages based on physician orders and established protocols. Responsible for performing diagnostics, therapeutics, and patient education to ensure optimal cardiopulmonary health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and perform diagnostic tests related to respiratory function.
• Administer therapeutic treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosol medications.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and management strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Follow established safety protocols and ensure compliance with licensing and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Valid Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications such as PALS within 90 days and NRP within six months of hire preferred.
