Job Details

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to adolescent through geriatric patients in a medical surgical unit. Delivers safe, effective patient care while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and update healthcare teams accordingly.
• Document patient information accurately using Epic and other facility systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including BLS certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license for Georgia or a Compact state.
• Have at least 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Capable of working within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Flexibility to float within scope and facility as needed.
