Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with specialized expertise in Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures. This role involves performing advanced vascular interventions within a high-acuity, teaching hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex interventional procedures including FEVAR, TAVRs, angiograms, stent placements, embolizations, and thrombectomies.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced vascular imaging equipment such as Zeego, Pheno, and Siemens portable C-Arms.
- Provide excellent patient care by adhering to safety protocols, radiation safety practices, and maintaining sterile environments.
- Document procedures accurately in the EPIC charting system and manage vascular supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful procedure outcomes and patient management.
- Maintain certification requirements and stay current with industry standards and best practices in vascular imaging.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT certification and BLS certification.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in hybrid OR and extensive endovascular procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Zeego, Pheno, Penumbra, AngioJet, and other vascular intervention tools.
- Exhibit strong ability to work independently under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Maintain a valid South Carolina RN license or ARRT technologist credentials.
- Provide and maintain a current radiation badge in compliance with safety standards.
