Job Details

Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, to support accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure high-quality images.
• Operate CT equipment and other imaging modalities in accordance with safety standards and protocols.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, images, and procedures within appropriate systems.
• Ensure equipment calibration, routine maintenance, and supply inventory management.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations during all imaging and data handling activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT (R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)).
• Possess valid RT license in the state of practice.
• Have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications including fluoroscopy and venipuncture certifications as applicable.
