Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality outpatient care as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory clinic setting. Lead clinic operations, collaborate with healthcare providers, and deliver compassionate patient services to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver clinical nursing services within the outpatient setting, supporting providers and staff to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Supervise daily clinic operations, including opening and closing provider clinics, managing supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately and professionally in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Conduct assessments, collect specimens, and perform Point of Care test quality control checks to support diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain medication inventory and supplies, ensuring proper storage and documentation outside of warehouse systems.
  • Communicate effectively across departments, anticipate patient needs, and assist providers and staff to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or another U.S. state required; active Alaska license at time of submittal mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of primary care nursing experience within the past 2 years.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Knowledge of nursing process, infection control, safety principles, and customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and experience working independently in a fast-paced environment.
