Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to inpatients at a 253-bed acute care hospital, including a dedicated inpatient rehab unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment and promote patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions using mobility equipment and modalities.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, guidelines, and state licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Florida PT license.
• Possess an MPT or DPT degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrate acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Have proficient knowledge of Meditech EMR.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Preferably have ICU experience and familiarity with mobility equipment.
