Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiovascular surgical nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center. The RN CVOR will perform perioperative duties, assist during surgeries, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver preoperative and postoperative patient assessment and care.
• Operate as a scrub nurse during cardiovascular surgeries such as CABG and valve replacements.
• Monitor and respond to patient vital signs and physiological status during procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to OR safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
• Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current clinical certification.
• Minimum of 5+ years of CVOR experience.
• Proven proficiency with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to float to main OR as needed.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.
• Willingness to work 13-week travel assignments including every other weekend and holidays.
