Job Summary:

Provide specialized radiation therapy to oncology patients, ensuring precise delivery of treatments according to physician prescriptions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care and treatment accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Administer targeted radiation treatments using Varian TrueBeam and IX software systems.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans as necessary under physician guidance.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation for each patient.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients about procedures, prepare them for treatment, and address concerns.
• Keep current with advances in radiation therapy technology and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid NY radiation therapist license in hand.
• Have a minimum of one year of radiation therapy experience.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Hold graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Maintain current BCLS certification.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
