Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT is responsible for producing high-quality computed tomography images of designated anatomical areas, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety across all age groups. The role emphasizes exceptional patient care and technical expertise in operation of CT equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to capture detailed images according to physician orders and protocols.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
• Utilize radiation safety practices effectively to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Document procedures accurately and manage multiple computer systems involved in imaging processes.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Kansas state license.
• Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Be registry-eligible or registered as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with a requirement to complete within 90 days if pending.
• Have at least one year of hospital radiology experience preferred.
• Certification in CT (C.T.) or eligibility is required.
