Job Summary:
Performing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. The CT Technologist collaborates with medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate state-of-the-art CT imaging equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images.
• Obtain patient histories and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
• Adapt to dual modality (CT/X-ray) procedures, including specialized techniques such as biopsies and ablations.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and radiation precautions for patients and staff.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• An ARRT (R)(CT) certification is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably with hospital experience.
• Proficiency in operating GE and Siemens CT scanners.
• Ability to perform specialized procedures like Bone Marrow Biopsies, CTA, and Microwave Ablations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
