Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal recovery outcomes. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams and utilizing advanced equipment to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment such as telemetry and bladder scanners.
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR system.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent hospital experience in a Med Surg setting.
• Possess BLS certification.
• Have experience with epilepsy care and telemetry monitoring.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and an open feedback approach.
• Prioritize patient safety and teamwork.
